Celebrating Father’s Day

A Father’s Day post to celebrate an incredible father and fun day out with him.  No day starts better than with Sunday brunch at Chase’s Daily in Belfast.  Twice baked croissants?  Yes, please.  Delicious version of Shakshuka to follow and ending with fortifying dad’s garden with some interesting plant selections from the back of Chase’s.  Anywhere that has on offer both pistachio sticky buns and seven son flower trees is a special place, indeed.  A bit of time in the car to digest brings us to Skyriders Disc Golf Course in Fairfield.  A new course for us, scoring high marks on a beautiful day to throw some discs around.  Rounding out our Father’s Day celebration perfectly came a selection of tasty pints and outrageously delectable wood fired pizza (smoked ricotta cream base with IPA caramelized onions and sauteed mushrooms…yes, please again) at Cushnoc Brewing Co. in Augusta.  That’s how to celebrate a devoted and loving father.  Thank you, Dad!
