Having worn many hats in her real estate career, Julee brings unparalleled experience to Pemetic Purveyors that is not usually seen in Downeast Maine. From real estate law, to operating entire luxury home and B&B divisions, to opening franchise real estate offices and creating her own boutique brokerage, Julee’s 35+ years in real estate have created a wealth of value for her clients. As a perennial over-achiever, real estate has been a fulfilling playground for Julee to do what she does best.
During a nomadic upbringing within an Air Force family, Julee experienced many aspects of American life while young and impressionable. The task of always needing to create a new circle of friends every 3 years crafted a personality that to this day, is as hard to resist as it is welcoming and genuine. Julee’s mother and father were born and raised in Bar Harbor, where she briefly attended elementary school. She was brought up young on blueberry pie and returned every summer to revel in Acadia, long summer days and 4th of July fireworks. It was likely more than fate that brought Julee back to Downeast Maine in 2003. Knowing Bar Harbor intimately, as it was then and as it is now, inspires her to share her love of Acadia with others.
Almost a decade spent as a real estate paralegal, Julee coordinated a successful law firm on Cape Cod. A demanding schedule and fast paced work environment brought with it a vast knowledge of real estate law & transaction process. It is common today for Julee to work hand in hand with clients’ attorneys to quickly and efficiently identify and iron out deed, description and title issues as they arise. This skill set is an exceptionally rare one for a broker to possess, and one that almost always creates immense value for both buyer and seller clients. Blending organizational skills honed from operating multiple luxury home and B&B divisions for a successful local brokerage, opening two different local offices from the ground up and being among the top producers for a number of years in the competitive Cape Cod real estate market, Julee’s attention to detail is legendary. This focus and systemization keeps Pemetic Purveyors’ transactions on track, accomplishing clients’ goals no matter the size of the wrench that gets thrown into the mix. Julee’s experience is further enhanced and put to work for clients as a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR). She has been a part of an impressive 560+ real estate sales with a sales volume surpassing $88 Million.
Having served as a Selectman for the Town of Trenton, Julee learned from the inside how small towns in Downeast Maine function. This local insight has made a significant, positive difference in a number of client scenarios. As well as owning a highly successful rental property, it is yet another aspect of value she provides Pemetic Purveyors. This is especially so as more and more clients utilize the robust rental market in Downeast Maine to make home ownership here a reality.
But well before real estate came into focus, Julee desired to create and share her life with a family. She created this family with her husband, Pete, who she still calls the love of her life, an amazing 40+ years of marriage later. Raising two children, Mandy and Ryan, on Cape Cod while juggling full time pursuits in a number of real estate industry positions was never easy. Though often it was rewarding and a lot of times, fun. Those rewards continue today as Julee finds time to visit with Mandy’s own young family, boasting 5 busy grandkids for “Jelly” and “Buddy” to play and grow with.
On her days off, you will often find Julee in the garden. A green thumb cultivated by marriage, Julee and Pete now live in Trenton, where they have designed and created extensive organic veggie and flower gardens that will make you wish July was 100 days long. Both Master Gardeners, it’s evident the love of soil and blooms that is shared in their home. Scampering around these gardens you will find a growing pack of mini-dachshund pups. Bug, Squid and Snook, all rescues adopted from DARE, keep days lively and Julee and Pete laughing, enjoying the life they have created together in Maine.
