Cookie’s Pies & Such

Among so much to be thankful for is living in a community where not only is it easy to find homemade & homegrown goods for sale, it’s also rather standard to have these goods for sale on the side of the road, being sold on the honor system. And often with cash in a box to make change with. In most places, this is not normal. In Downeast Maine, it’s something you see pretty much every day. So grateful for this and hope that it never changes. And if you’re lucky enough to pass by “Cookie’s Pies & Such” next to Hansen’s Outpost in Bass Harbor, it’s the blueberry buckle that you’ll write home about.
